Our Team
Theo Tsirigotis, President
theo.tsirigotis@mba.utexas.edu
Theo counts himself as an Austin native, even if it took about twenty years for him to find his way back. During that time, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Claremont McKenna College and spent nine years in the US Army, serving as an officer in the Infantry, 75th Ranger Regiment, and Special Forces. Upon leaving the military, he knew he wanted to pursue a career where he could still go to work every day with a sense of purpose, which led him to UT-Austin, where he is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in Business Administration and Energy and Earth Resources. As President of the CleanTech Group, he hopes to continue to build on McCombs’ reputation in cleantech, as well as continue to provide the space for students to explore interests and career options in a field that is more vital than ever. He is also a CleanTech Fellow, Board Fellow, and member of Texas Veterans in Business.
