CleanTech at McCombs


CleanTech, or climate tech, encompasses a wide range of industries involved in the decarbonization of the global economy. This includes renewable energy and EVs to innovative technologies such as carbon, capture, and sequestration, regenerative agriculture, adaption, and more.

McCombs School of Business is one of the only top business schools which provides a dedicated CleanTech concentration for MBA students interested in a career in sustainability, renewable energy and related technologies. As an existing leader in traditional energy, the University of Texas is emerging as premier institution for low-carbon power sources. About CleanTech Group

CleanTech Group (CTG) is an MBA student organization at the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. CTG prepares Texas MBA students for careers in clean technology, while providing opportunities for students to network and source full-time positions.

    The CleanTech concentration provides a selection of courses which MBA students interested in a CleanTech career can take. These courses allow students to tailor their degree to their own sustainability interests.
